Stolen From the Radio 08/13: Dangercat

It’s no secret that Canada’s full of great punk/pop-punk. Montreal itself has produced a number of great punk acts throughout the years, as have many other cities…but for some reason, Winnipeg never struck me as a city from which a great punk act would emerge. I hereby stand corrected. Ladies and gents, I present to you: Dangercat!

Apparently, these guys were in town just a few weeks ago, and I’m really disappointed in myself for not seeing that show listing. It would’ve been great to see these guys live! Their debut record “Where I’ll Be” is everything a punk rock record should be – it’s energetic, occasionally heartfelt, and catchy as fuck. It would easily fit in almost any punk rock library, so why not add it to yours? Here, try a song or two:
