Webseries Week: Hitman 101

If you were basing your entire knowledge of webseries on the past 3 days of B.U. articles, you’d think all webseries are comedies. Well, they’re not. This one, brought to you by Bad Guy Films, is a blend of action, suspense and, well, a touch of comedy. But just a touch of it, I swear! Check otu the first episode of Hitman 101 below.

This series was developed as a 12-parter, but if it gains enough support, we’ll be getting a second season of it. Its charm rests mostly on the combined use of diary-style entries by the main character, combined with an effective storyline that will draw you in faster than quicksand. Ok, that might not be the best example, real-life quicksand takes quite a while to engulf someone, but you get my point: This series is addictive. What it lakes in script, it makes up for in timing, with every episode ending on a hook that’s just good enough to force you into another one. Add a dash of sexiness to the whole thing and you’ve got a series that’s good enough to win some awards at the LA Webfest. Check the series out if you want to see some entertaining fight scenes and get inside a hitman’s head for a little while.
