Du théâtre d’objet, on aime ça! Monstres Palace, c’est une série de contes macabres et bizarres, présentés avec l’aide d’accessoires, par une jeune troupe qui déborde de talent. L’espace choisi pour le spectacle est parfait: Les Katacombes rajoutent un feeling sombre à un spectacle qui balance gentiment les rires et les peurs. Un spectacle qui saura plaire aux habitués du Grand Guignol ou au fascinés de l’étrange. Rendez-vous au Katacombes jusqu’au 21 Juillet, et visitez le Monstres Palace!
Two Girls Smoke a Cigarette in 30 Seconds
Equal parts contemporary dance pîece and experiment in audience alienation, this show is simply odd. Without a clear direction, Two Girls is easy to get lost in, or to get distracted away from. Much like my poor sentence structures (see previous sentence), this show needs to work on its presentation. Though the two girls in question are charming and delightful, the mood throughout the show is unidentifiable and at times unsettling. I must praise the musical choices for the show though, as they were fantastic…but the structure of the show could use some work. Nonetheless, go see it fi you want to try out something completely different. If you get tired of the show but not tired of staring at women, you have the option of going downstairs instead. Two Girls is at Cafe Cleopatre until July 21st.
